ICAM 40 / VIS 40: Introduction to Computing in the Arts


MIDTERM PROJECT

Make approximately 30 second long Flash film (non-interactive).
You can't use any images.
Your can't use any colors. You can use black, white, and shades of gray.
You can use only one font. You can use different sizes of this one font.
Letters and words can move, change size, and cretonne.
Background can change: white, black, gray.

The film should present your personal take on the history of computers.
You don't need to over all the history and be objective.
Rather try to make the viewers think about the subject in a new way.
You can use some material presented in class but you cant simply do that.
Do some research, find other facts, figures, ideas and use your findings in your film.
